Each large cylindrical planter with grape cluster and leaves is hand‑crafted in the Bettini Deruta workshop. Made according to the ancient Deruta terracotta tradition, every piece stands out for its authenticity and artisanal character.
Natural and Breathable Terracotta
The planter is made from natural terracotta, a porous and breathable material that promotes healthy root development. It regulates moisture, absorbs excess water and provides ideal growing conditions for plants.
Hand‑Worked Grape Cluster and Leaf Relief
The surface features a refined raised decoration with a grape cluster and leaves, a motif deeply rooted in Umbrian craftsmanship. Each detail is hand‑worked and hand‑finished, making every planter a unique artisanal piece. Slight variations in color and finish are typical of handmade production.
Outdoor Use and Frost Resistance
Thanks to traditional firing and expert craftsmanship, the planter withstands both low and high temperatures, making it suitable for gardens, terraces, entrances and outdoor spaces throughout the year.
It includes a drainage hole at the base to help release excess water and protect the roots from moisture buildup.
For improved drainage and to protect the terracotta from ground humidity, we recommend using terracotta feet. They slightly elevate the planter, enhancing water outflow and increasing ventilation at the base.
