Each vase is carefully hand‑worked and hand‑finished by our artisans, making every piece unique and authentic.
Natural terracotta: porous and breathable
Made from natural terracotta, a porous and breathable material, this vase promotes healthy plant growth by maintaining the right moisture balance and absorbing excess water. High‑temperature firing ensures stability, frost resistance and long‑lasting durability, making it ideal for outdoor use throughout the year.
Handcrafted shape and scalloped rim
The traditional Testaccia shape and the distinctive scalloped rim are hand‑worked and hand‑finished by our artisans, according to Deruta’s artisanal tradition. Slight variations in color and finish confirm the authenticity of the handmade process and make each vase a one‑of‑a‑kind piece.
Perfect for outdoor use and frost‑resistant
The robust structure and the quality of the terracotta make the vase resistant to both low and high temperatures, perfect for gardens, terraces, balconies and entrances. The Testaccia shape ensures excellent stability, even with larger plants.
Equipped with a drainage hole, it allows excess water to escape and protects the roots from stagnant moisture.
To improve drainage and protect the terracotta over time, we recommend using our terracotta feet.
