Smooth Square Terracotta Pillar | Bettini Deruta Artisan Craft

The Bettini Deruta Smooth Square Terracotta Pillar is a fully handmade piece created in our workshop in Deruta, where terracotta craftsmanship has been passed down for generations. Its tall, clean design and smooth surface give it an elegant and versatile presence, ideal for enhancing any outdoor space.

Natural, breathable terracotta

Made from 100% natural terracotta, a porous and breathable material, it helps maintain balanced soil moisture and supports healthy root development. Each pillar is unique, with slight variations that reflect its artisanal origin and the authenticity of Bettini Deruta craftsmanship.

Frost‑resistant and ideal for outdoor use

The high‑temperature firing ensures resistance to frost, sunlight and temperature changes, making this pillar suitable for outdoor use throughout the year. It includes a drainage hole at the base to prevent water stagnation and promote proper drainage.

Perfect for Mediterranean and ornamental plants

Natural terracotta provides an optimal environment for Mediterranean plants, aromatic herbs, seasonal flowers and small shrubs, ensuring stability and long‑lasting well‑being.

Terracotta feet are recommended to improve drainage and protect the base of the pillar from ground moisture, enhancing durability over time.
